REPENTANCE TO BRING BLESSING

This moment in time, The LORD God Almighty, The LORD Jesus Christ and The Holy Spirit is going to take us step by step in understanding that indeed Repentance does come with blessing. Blessing cannot come until and unless there being Repentance first.

But let us start by understanding what Repentance entails. And so Repentance is to go before The LORD and say to The LORD: “Forgive all my sins and receive me graciously, that I may offer the fruit (sacrifice) of my lips.” This essentially means that Repentance starts with recognizing that we are sinners and that it is because of our sins that we have stumbled; and then going before The LORD with humility knowing that we don’t deserve His mercy and forgiveness; but just due to His grace, we ask the LORD to receive us. After The LORD receives us, we will then offer a sacrifice of praise and worship to The LORD, a sacrifice that is acceptable before The LORD; we will now preach His word and spread His word with our lips because our hearts shall have been reformed and we will thus bear the fruit that comes with Repentance. That’s why John The Baptist says in the book of Mathew 3:7-8 “But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them, “Brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance.” The book of Hosea 14:1-2 summarizes it as follows: ‘“O Israel, return to the Lord your God, For you have stumbled because of your iniquity; Take words with you, And return to the Lord. Say to Him, “Take away all iniquity (sins); Receive us graciously, For we will offer the sacrifices of our lips.”’

By this, then those who have been delivered will now know and recognize that their neighbours, friends, parents, family, property, wealth, jobs etc will not save them. The LORD is very mercifully and loving and His anger turns away when one Repents of their sins; and so The LORD restores them, renews them and revives them, energizes them and rejuvenates them. So one becomes blessed and strengthened by The LORD; for they shall have recognized that only in the LORD does their genuine and everlasting help/salvation comes. This is well stated in the book of Hosea 14:3 ‘“Assyria cannot save us; we will not mount warhorses. We will never again say ‘Our gods’   to what our own hands have made, for in you the fatherless find compassion.”’

They will then spread the good news of the LORD; and the blessedness and deliverance of the LORD in their life will spread; because they will then become a living testimony of how the LORD can rescue, heal, deliver and set free one who was initially stumbling due to sin. That’s why The LORD declares in the book of Hosea 14:5-8 ‘“I will be like the dew to Israel; He shall grow (blossom) like the lily, And lengthen his roots like Lebanon. His branches shall spread; His beauty shall be like an olive tree, And his fragrance like Lebanon.  Those who dwell under his shadow shall return; They shall be revived like grain, And grow like a vine. Their scent shall be like the wine of Lebanon. “Ephraim shall say, ‘What have I to do anymore with idols?’ I have heard and observed him. I am like a green cypress tree; Your fruit is found in Me.”’

It is also very important to note that the way of The LORD; is the way of Righteousness and Holiness. Only those who are wise and full of understanding can walk on it; because by then they will actually be walking with The LORD. But the question that pops up is: “Who are these wise people and who are these who understand?.”  To digest the meaning of this then we have to go to the book of Job 28:28 which states: ‘“And he said to the human race, “The fear of the Lord—that is wisdom,  and to shun evil is understanding.”’

It is also very important to note that those who are rebellious (transgressors), who have not Repented of their sins cannot walk on the way of The LORD; the way of righteousness and holiness, because they will stumble. When they stumble then they will be shamefully be exposed because then the garment they will be wearing will not have been trimmed by The LORD by walking in Repentance, Righteousness, Holiness, Truth and Complete Surrender to The LORD Jesus Christ, and this is well stated in the book of Revelation 16:15 “Look, I come like a thief! Blessed is the one who stays awake and remains clothed, so as not to go naked and be shamefully exposed.”

The book of Hosea 14:9 summarizes it as follows: “Who is wise? Let him understand these things. Who is prudent? Let him know them. For the ways of the Lord are right; The righteous walk in them, But transgressors (Rebellious) stumble in them.”

AND SO TO SUMMARIZE THE BLESSINGS THAT COMES FROM REPENTANCE:

The first one is that through Repentance, there is forgiveness of sins.

The second one is that through Repentance there is grace and mercy offered by The LORD as He receives those who have repented of their sins.

The third one is that through Repentance; a sacrifice acceptable before The LORD can now be offered; the sacrifice of praise and worship. The worship in truth and in spirit.
The fourth one is that through Repentance people realize that their salvation/help is in the hands of The LORD; and not in their neighbours, friends, parents, family, property, wealth, jobs etc.

The fifth one is that through Repentance there is healing and free love from The LORD. And the anger of The LORD is turned away.

The sixth one is that through Repentance, one becomes restored, renewed, revived, energized and rejuvenated by The LORD (The Anointing and the outpour of The Holy Spirit). So there is revival that accompanies Repentance. “I will be like the dew to Israel (them/you).”

The seventh one is that through Repentance the message of salvation of The LORD spread; because those who have been revived spread the good news of The LORD for they shall have tasted of the Righteousness and the Holiness of The LORD and indeed the fruits and the gifts of The Holy Spirit.

The eighth one is that through Repentance do people become wise and full of understanding. When they acquire wisdom and understanding, then they will walk with The LORD on the highway of The LORD; the way of Righteousness and Holiness.

SHALOM!!!

Hosea 14:1-9 ‘“O Israel, return to the Lord your God, For you have stumbled because of your iniquity; Take words with you, And return to the Lord. Say to Him, “Take away all iniquity (sins); Receive usgraciously, For we will offer the sacrifices of our lips. Assyria shall not save us, We will not ride on horses, Nor will we say anymore to the work of our hands, ‘You are our gods.’ For in You the fatherless finds mercy.” “I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely, For My anger has turned away from him. I will be like the dew to Israel; He shall grow like the lily, And lengthen his roots like Lebanon. His branches shall spread; His beauty shall be like an olive tree, And his fragrance like Lebanon. Those who dwell under his shadow shall return; They shall be revivedlike grain, And grow like a vine. Their scent shall be like the wine of Lebanon.  “Ephraim shall say, ‘What have I to do anymore with idols?’ I have heard and observed him. I am like a green cypress tree; Your fruit is found in Me.”  Who is wise? Let him understand these things. Who isprudent? Let him know them. For the ways of the Lord are right; The righteous walk in them, But transgressors (Rebellious) stumble in them.”’

PREPARE THE WAY FOR THE COMING OF THE LORD IN ABSOLUTE REPENTANCE, RIGHTEOUSNESS, HOLINESS, TRUTH AND COMPLETE SURRENDER TO THE LORD JESUS CHRIST (YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH). TIME IS ABSOLUTELY OVER; THE MESSIAH JESUS CHRIST IS IMMINENTLY COMING TO PICK HIS BRIDE!!!

REPENTANCE PRAYER

Precious Jesus,

I acknowledge today that you are LORD and savior of all mankind,

and today I have recognized my shortfall,

I repent and turn away from all sin.

Please cover me with your precious blood,

and establish your word in my life,

that I may be found in righteousness and holiness

and write my name in your book of life

and baptize me with the power of the Holy Spirit

in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Amen.

Shalom!!! Shalom!!! Shalom!!!
